97 Years of History

The history of Olivieri is the history of a family that since 1929 is able to express trend at its best and how to live your home, previously only in Italy and now worldwide. Four generations have lived. The founder, Gregorio Olivieri, year 1908, he was nine years when he started to create the first wooden objects, being amazed by the beauty of the material. Today Olivieri brand is appreciated in more than 50 countries worldwide, and in February 2014 was inaugurated the first corporate flagship in Milan, in via Solferino, Brera Alongside industrial production, Olivieri has always been able to manage its interior joinery, custom furniture, and unique and inimitable furnishings.

Pre-Mounting of all products

Olivieri’s own characteristic is to install the hardware inside the factory for all our products: sides, doors, bases, tops, etc. A mounting guarantee which avoids every mistake and ensures the best time optimising.

What is the Honeycomb Plywood?

The Honeycomb plywood is a wood panel made by an internal alveolar structure and a first class 7 cm frame in solid fir wood. The closure panels are in MDF, thk. 0,3cm or 0,4cm, which are lacquered or veneered.

What are the key factors?

• Higher durability for long time.
• Better resistance to weight.
• Panels are lighter (until 60% less than others), this is important during transportation, installation, movements and also for reducing the door’s weight on the structure and on the hardware.
• In swing wardrobes the hardware is always fixed on the sides’ and doors’ frame (in solid fir wood), so the hinges will be more resistant & the wardrobes will last longer.
• In sliding wardrobes the top of the structure in honeycomb plywood has the advantage of keeping the sliding mechanism perfectly straight which will work better and longer.
• Better moisture resistance, that’s because it’s a “breathing” material.
• An exclusive “Made in Italy” material.
